Las Vegas Firefighter Test

The next Las Vegas Nevada exam will be held on Jan 29, 2008.  Applications will be accepted from Oct 1, 2007 until Oct 12, 2007.  Las Vegas Fire exam details can be found below.

Since one-hundred percent of your score to get hired for Las Vegas is in the oral board it’s time to get ready! Just a point or two one way or the other will make the difference in you going forward in the hiring process.

Many of our candidates were successful in past Las Vegas orals and now proudly wear the Vegas badge .

Want to join them? The following is Captain Bob's free inside "Nuggets”, tips, ideas and inside information on how to get ready for the Las Vegas City test. Step by step we will guide you through the maze of the Las Vegas testing process course to give you a leg up on the competition.

I think this makes the point:

Capt Bob,
I just finished taking the oral interview and wanted to write a quick note.

First I want to thank you for the information and tools that you have supplied me with in your Gold Package Program http://www.eatstress.com/goldpackage.htm

As you have said before oral board is the most important step in the process and the step that is least prepared for. Well I can support your statement. As I watched the recording of my score (reading upside down) I noticed 60's and 70's on the scores of those that interviewed before me. I would assume there were about 25 names on the sheet prior to mine. Again the methods you teach do work.

It worked I scored high enough made the cut and was hired. Thanks again for your help Rich

Drum roll please: Announcing badge 2,200!!!!!!!You’re not going to believe this.  Don’t miss the last sentence!!!!!!!

Indiscribable Thanks Captian Bob:

I have arrived at the moment, that before September 15th was only realized in my dreams, that was the day I received “the call” informing me that I had been chosen as one of the fourteen candidates to start the academy for Las Vegas Fire and Rescue!

I am very fit. I work out 5 days a week and have for years. I have my EMT-Intermediate Certification and a burning desire to become a firefighter since I was 10 years old. Some times life seems to get in the way of our dreams and plans, but I have learned only if you let it! Three years ago I decided to go for my dream career, I had done everything I knew I could do to physically be ready for this demanding job, but I was oblivious to the testing and hiring process. That is when I came across your web site, Captain Bob your materials were invaluable in helping me obtain my badge. I followed your advise to the letter throughout the process from testing to oral interviews and the psych. Your insight is right on the mark!

Rob helped me with private coaching, and low and behold I am poised to start my dream career! Thank you is not enough to express my heart felt gratitude for your help in getting me to this place in life. I look forward to meeting you in person some day to say “thanks”.  Ted R. Las Vegas Nevada

Ted was number 3 on the list, an EMT and FORTY-SEVEN YEARS OLD!  He also scored higher than his Son on the same list and got the job.  Bravo!

Another:

I was having trouble with the cultural diversity questions. I scored a 78 in Denver after a poor answer in this area. I asked "Captain Bob" if he knew anything about cultural diversity after a class he presented at our college. He did! After going through the program, and though I didn't have the money, "Captain Bob" gave me a private coaching session. I learned I had a personal dynamite answer for cultural diversity and the rest of my oral board skills. Three months later, I went to the chief's oral in Las Vegas. I was ready when they asked the cultural diversity question. After the interview, one of the Chief's said, "I don't know if we're supposed to say anything, but that was the best answer we have heard on cultural diversity."

Thirty-five hundred took the test. My oral board score jumped from 78 to a 96! I was one of the first hired for next academy. Since then, they sent me to medic school.

Believe me when I tell you I would not be in uniform right now if it wasn't for "Captain Bob".

Sincerely, Justin
